A: My name is Jack and I’m a Senior Sales Manager
Q: Senior Sales Manager, you say…what do you actually do?
A: My role consists of going into agencies and pitching our wonderful product to various brands, working with our internal teams to respond to briefs on upcoming campaigns, and helping to make sure we’re doing all we can to help achieve our client’s goals.
Q: Best bit of your job?
A: Getting to meet so many great people in the industry and involved with some brilliant campaigns
Q: Okay – what’s a part of your job that could suddenly vanish and you wouldn’t cry about it?
A: Manually typing emails – I would happily leave that to AI.
Q: What’s a fact about media/advertising that everyone should know?
A: A superbowl 30 second ad spot costs $7-8 million…
Q: What’s your favorite thing about working at Vyde? (And no, you can’t say the coffee machine).
A: The people ! We’re a very close knit group and it’s always fun going into the office. Everyone communicates well with each other, which I think is the key to good teamwork.
Q: An ad (old and new) that’s stuck with you?
A: I’m always a sucker for a good OOH ad and Estrella took over the whole tunnel at Oxford Circus station a few years back – it was so immersive and you couldn’t miss it.
Q: Go-to-afternoon snack?
A: Yumnuts are my absolute kryptonite.
Q: Loudest person in the office?
A: No competition. Mr Sellars.
Q: And, finally, what don’t they tell you about being a Senior Sales Manager?
Connections are everything. Grow your network as much as possible – you never know when its gonna come in handy.
