‍Q: Don’t be shy, introduce yourself.‍

A: Hey, I’m Carolin and I’m an Account Executive.

Q: Job title, you say…what do you actually do?

A: I manage client relationships by ensuring campaigns run smoothly, perform well, and deliver real value. I work closely with clients and our team to analyse performance data, forecast revenue and turn insights into clear, long-term recommendations.

Q: Best bit of your job?

A: Seeing the numbers tell a story! Whether it’s a campaign improving mid-flight or a forecast turning into real revenue, it’s really satisfying knowing the work our amazing team does behind the scenes actually makes a difference.

Q: Okay – what’s a part of your job that could suddenly vanish and you wouldn’t cry about it?

A: Hunting down Excel errors caused by one missing letter in a formula!!!! It’s a full time job.

Q: What’s a fact about media/advertising that everyone should know?

A: The most effective campaigns are often shaped by what happens during delivery, not just what’s planned at the start.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about working at Vyde? (And no, you can’t say the coffee machine).

A: The team. Everyone’s lovely to work with, and I never leave the office without having laughed (the weekly snack delivery helps too).

Q: An ad (old and new) that’s stuck with you?

A: I loooove immersive ads. One that really stuck with me was the Meta VR headset ad when it was displayed in Piccadilly Circus! So good.

Q: Go-to-afternoon snack?

A: An RXBAR (specifically the blueberry flavour, so yum).

Q: Loudest person in the office?

A: Everyone will say the same…Christian Sellars.

Q: And, finally, what don’t they tell you about being an Account Executive?

A: That asking questions early saves a lot of time later. You learn quickly that clarity is better than guessing.
